The FORTRAN training course is scheduled to be covered in five three-hour long sessions altogether. It will be an advantage, but not essential, to have been exposed to some computer programming experience in the past.
The participants will be given the option to perform the course exercises on the Linux based, Sheffield University HPC cluster or on the MS Windows workstations using the Salford Compiler. If you have such a workstation, you are advised to install the Silverfrost 'Salford' Fortran Compiler by downloading it via the Fortran Software at Sheffield university link provided below.
